Admission Procedure

Introduction

Applications must be made on the prescribed original application form available in the prospectus of the Institute. This form is attached at the end of this prospectus (see Annex II).The prospectus and application form may also be downloaded from the website.
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 2,000/- will have to be paid. Payment must be made via bank draft, pay order or by hand (see Annex 1 for details).
Completed applications should enclose one each of the following documents

  • Domicile certificate (optional)
  • Photocopy of Matriculation certificate
  • Photocopy of Intermediate certificate
  • Final or provisional degree / transcript
  • Photocopy of identity card
  • 2 passport-sized photographs

Completed applications must reach the Registrar of the institute on the address given by the closing date.
Incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
Government employees can send applications in advance, but are required to get their NOC from their respective departments to enroll in the program.

Admissions Committee

PIO has its own Admissions Committee, comprising of the Dean, the Head of Department, the Deputy Registrar, Senior Faculty Member/s. The Admissions Committee has the responsibility for the selection of applicants to be admitted to the Program. It establishes procedures for the timely review of applications to the Program. Referrals of admission are at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.
